Bet365 is one of the newest members to make its way onto the USA sports betting market. Bet365 launched finally in New Jersey and this is our review for the platform. For now only the casino and sports section are available.
Let’s take a closer look.
Bet365 NJ Review: Sports and markets that we’ll find
Now my experience with Bet365 has been a pleasant one so far, and my thinking is that the same offers and products will be available once the company hits the New Jersey online market. In that sense, among my favorite sports that Bet365 offers, I can list:
- American Football (NFL)
- Baseball – MLB, the Korean league, the Japanese league, and the Mexican league.
- Ice Hockey
But the cool part is that they got a plethora of other more obscure sports available for betting. What impressed me personally is the fact that they also got these:
- College sports
And finally, Bet365 obviously is willing to take bets on stuff other than sports. I loved the fact that I can bet on some reality shows or even politics.
When it comes to specific markets, I am literally blown away. The top soccer events have an abundance of betting markets available both on pre-game and in-play. I get to bet on who’ll be booked next, who will be subbed out next, will there be a goal in the next 5 minutes and stuff like that.
If I bet the NBA or the NFL I also get to place wagers on player specials. Bet365 offers me the opportunity to pick if a player will score over or under a certain amount of points. The same goes for assists, rebounds, etc. As far as the NFL goes, I can bet on player yardage, touchdowns, sacks and many more.
The odds and the limits: Competitive as ever
It’s tough to say what the default limits of the betting markets are. Generally, Bet365 is very generous when we talk about the maximum amount of money one could place as a bet. However, I’ve found out that they reserve the right to limit accounts if they suspect any foul play.
Currently, I am allowed to bet the full amount a market allows. But if my account is limited, I may be entitled to bet only half of that amount or even less. The default limits vary from event to event depending on how “big” the match in question is.
The odds that Bet365 offers do not blow me away, but I think they are fair. Another thing about Bet365 is that they seem to update their odds and react to market changes very quickly. If a star player declares that they won’t play in a game, Bet365 will swiftly adjust the odds, thus leaving players little room to cheat.
The odds format for the US market will surely be American. But the operator also offers decimals and fractions.
Bet365 NJ Review: Extra Features Expected
Bet365 offers a few cool features that accompany the regular betting offer that they have. I love most of the stuff and hope they’ll have them in the USA as well. What’s really cool is the fact that I get to decide between a number of types of bet slips. You don’t get to place only single and accumulator bets. You can have various combo bets and this really gives plenty of opportunities for players to win even if some of their selections lose.
Live streaming is an integral part of in-play betting for any prominent bookmaker in the world. Bet365 is no exclusion, and I am really fond of the fact that I get to watch live action as I bet. One thing has to be noted. Not every in-play event has a live picture.
Understandably, some obscure leagues cannot be broadcast live. But no worries, Bet365 has found a solution to this. They offer live scoreboard for such matches. I get to see the score changing in real-time together with some more detailed info. For example, their scoreboard tells me who has the ball, who has committed a foul or anything related to the outcome of the event. The play-by-play thing is handy for me.
To use the Live Streaming service you will need to be logged in and have a funded account or to have placed a bet in the last 24 hours.
I am not sure if Bet365 will have the mobile app ready to go in the USA right away. They might because their preparation so far has been very thorough. The app is of great convenience to everyone. It is available for both iOS and Android and will make life easier for any bettor.
The most essential features are in-play betting and cash-out. You get to place a wager live, and you get to cash it out whenever you feel like it by just whipping out the phone from your pocket. For those who want to save some storage space on their mobile devices, the mobile version of the site is also well-developed.
My final thoughts on the upcoming Bet365 US launch
I’ve already described the operations of Bet365 well enough, but there’s always more to offer. Along with the abundance of events that I get, I also get many banking options. This allows me to deposit and withdraw money into my account using the most convenient methods.
Customer service works swiftly, and this is always nice. Their chatbots are somewhat unfriendly, but the significant upside is that they can assist in several languages. I typically contact them through email because this way, I receive the most detailed responses. For quick interaction, though, the chat is excellent.
One thing I think they can improve is the number of betting types that they allow. Currently, they have a few combo types available, but some of the more unusual ones aren’t there. For example, I’d be glad if they had combos such as Heinz, Super Heinz, Goliath. Some of their biggest rivals such as William Hill and Ladbrokes, have many more combo slips available. This is definitely something for Bet365 to look into.
Finally, the other sections of the website also deserve to be mentioned. I haven’t personally visited any poker rooms, but I’ve checked out their casino a few times. It never hurts to try new gaming experiences.
